A Point of Booking Declaration has been added to the website
This is so you can declare that you, or your child have not been in close contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 and if they have, they have self-isolated for 14 days. Art Camp is an essential service and we have run our camps throughout the pandemic adhering to Government guidelines, keeping our staff and children safe.
Additional cleaning measures in all camps are to maintain the highest possible standards of hygiene. We have also employed cleaning staff for deep cleans after camps have finished.
Morning Talks with the children and afternoon registration about hand washing and the importance of using and disposing of tissues. Children will be organised into colour coded ‘bubble’ groups of no more than 15 children, with 2 staff members. They will then remain in their ‘bubble’ for the whole day.
There will be no mixing of children between activities and between groups.
Covid 19 - What you need to know - All children will complete every activity to avoid mixing the groups. Every camp and every bubble will have a supply of antibacterial hand-gel and encourage staff and children to use this regularly throughout the day. We have a staff Health Screen Questionnaire declaring if they have been in contact with anyone infected with COVID-19 within the last 14 days.
We will ensure that when parents arrive to drop off/collect their child/children, maintain the government guidelines on social distancing. We also ask parents to wear masks when collecting their children and on drop offs. No parents will be allowed into the building whilst dropping the children off and collecting and staff will sign the children in and out.
Any children/child who develops a temperature will not be able to stay at the camp . If a child begins to show symptoms of a cough/fever there will be a designated area where the child can be kept to isolate until they are collected, PPE will be available for staff to wear if they choose to. This will apply to children too.
